I’m Jess
I’m Jess, the Denver photographer behind Jessica Dnea Imagery. I photograph concerts, band promo and press campaigns, portraits, personal branding sessions, seniors and graduates, and events throughout Denver and Colorado.
I began photographing live music in 2018, starting with friends’ projects and growing into work for artists, venues, publications, businesses, and individual clients.
Photography connects me to people and the work they care about. I bring energy, curiosity, clear direction, and genuine excitement to every session.
My work has been published across music and culture outlets, and that experience shapes how I approach personal branding photography, band promo and press photos, concert photography, and promotional images. When the goal is professional use, we plan with that use in mind from the start. During your free consultation, we’ll talk through where the photos need to live, what sizes or crops you may need, how the images will support your website, social media, press kit, release, profile, or promotional materials, and what deliverables make the most sense for your project.

the process
1. LOOK AROUND
There are a lot of photographers in Denver, and choosing the right person matters. Take a look through my work, read through the session details, and make sure the style feels like a good fit. The best sessions start with a clear connection to the work and a good sense of what you want from your photos.
2. BOOK ONLINE (HERE)
The easiest way to get on my calendar is through the online booking page. Choose the session that fits what you need, pick an available time, and complete the booking form. A $100 retainer is due at booking and applies toward your final balance. That reserves your date and starts the planning process.
3. SHARE THE DETAILS
During booking, you’ll be able to tell me about your shoot, what the images are for, and any location, outfit, mood, or creative direction ideas you already have. After your booking comes through, I’ll review everything and follow up if we need to confirm details, adjust timing, or talk through location plans.
4. PLAN THE SESSION
Before the shoot, we’ll go over the pieces that help the session come together. That may include location ideas, outfit direction, timing for good light, studio rental options, what to bring, or how to prepare. The goal is to keep the planning simple while making sure the session feels intentional and ready.
5. TAKE THE PHOTOS
On shoot day, I’ll guide you through the session so you’re not left wondering what to do with your face, hands, body, or entire existence. We’ll move through the location, follow the best light, adjust as needed, and create a strong mix of images based on the session you booked.
6. FINAL PAYMENT & DELIVERY
Your remaining balance is due by the session date. After the shoot, I’ll curate and edit your final gallery based on the session you selected. Edited images are delivered through a private online gallery where you can view, download, and save your final photos. Standard delivery is typically 10–14 days unless rush delivery has been added.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
I’m a Denver photographer offering portrait photography, personal branding photography, senior and graduation sessions, band promo and press photos, concert photography, and event photography. Sessions are available in studios and at outdoor, downtown, mountain, venue, business, and client-selected locations across Denver and Colorado.
-
Start with what the photos need to do. If you need images for a band, release, EPK, poster, or artist promotion, look at band promo or press photos. If you need website, social media, business, or brand content, branding photography is probably the move. If you want personal, creative, senior, graduation, or professional portraits, start with portrait sessions. For live shows, festivals, private parties, brand events, and corporate events, choose concert or event coverage.
-
Yes. You do not need modeling experience to get strong photos. I guide posing, expression, movement, angles, spacing, and small details throughout the session so you’re not standing there wondering what to do with your hands. Sessions are collaborative, relaxed, and built around who you are and what the images need to communicate.
-
We’ll talk through location during the consultation. Some sessions work best in studio, some work better outdoors, downtown, in the mountains, at a venue, or somewhere connected to the project. I shoot in Denver and across Colorado, including mountain locations like Breckenridge and Summit County. Travel, studio rental, and location needs are discussed before booking so everything is clear.
-
It depends on the session. Outdoor portraits usually look best in the morning or closer to sunset when the light is softer. Mountain sessions often work best in the evening because the light changes quickly behind the peaks. Urban, studio, concert, and event sessions are planned around the location, schedule, lighting, and the kind of images we need to make.
-
Most sessions include standard usage for everyday needs like websites, organic social media, online profiles, artist bios, EPKs, press kits, announcements, and basic promotional materials tied to your project. If you need paid ads, sponsored posts, third-party usage, merchandise, album packaging, print campaigns, or extended commercial use, we’ll talk through licensing before the session.
-
Final images are delivered through an online gallery where you can view, download, and share your edited JPEG files. Delivery timelines depend on the session type, and we’ll confirm that before booking. Rush delivery may be available for releases, announcements, event recaps, website launches, or deadline-based projects.
-
Choose the photography service that fits your project and book online, or schedule a consultation if you need help selecting a session. We’ll confirm your goals, location, timing, deliverables, image usage, and next steps before the shoot.
